FAQs

How Big is the Festival and what can I Expect?

uokFEST is a micro festival - small and beautifully formed with 500 attendees. Expect space to dance, the friendliest festival folks ever, glitter, randomness, inspiration and plenty of smiles - all with the aim of promoting Mental Health Awareness.

What Age Group is uokFEST Targeted at?

uokFEST is a festival for all ages! Most of the entertainment is targeted at adults, however the whole family can come along too.  It’s family friendly and great for kids too – we want to inspire the little nippers to be social, creative and celebrate life – why should just the adults have the fun? There's plenty of activities to keep the kids busy!

What Time Does the Music Start and Stop?

The first act is due to take to the stage at 12pm midday and we have a full schedule of bands, soloists and DJ's throughout the day right up until 11pm.

What Food will be Available at the Festival?

A variety of delicious food will be available at reasonable prices, from a range of festival food vendors such a Grilla Cheese and Viking Spice.

Can I Bring my Own Food?

You can bring your own food… but why would you spend valuable fun-time opening packets & tins, when you could be eating freshly-prepared food from our fantastic (and very reasonably priced) food vendors? Less time pfaffing, more time dancing!

Can I Bring my own Drinks?

Yes, you can bring your own soft drinks and water, BUT no alcohol is permitted to be brought onto the festival site. Our bar will stock a full range of nice and cold alcoholic refreshments to keep your thirst quenched all day long.

Can I Bring a BBQ?

No BBQs are allowed on site, but our food vendors will be on hand to keep your taste buds ticking over throughout the day.

Can I Pay for Food & Drinks with my Bank Card?

Yes - The main bar will accept card and contactless payments along with cash, but we can't promise that all of the food vendors will have card payment facilities available, so make sure to bring enough cash to keep you going.

What shall I wear to such an amazing festival?

Join us in wearing whatever makes YOU feel the most amazing. Whether this means head to toe in sparkle, bright colours that you simply cannot wear in the office, or an amazing fancy dress outfit that looks ridiculous and gets lots of attention – anything goes. It's worth noting that Poaka Beck Farm is a working farm and the unpredictability of the great British weather means that the field might not be suitable for all footwear - We suggest bringing your wellies!

Will my ticket be refunded if the 2021 festival gets cancelled?

For your peace of mind, if uokFEST 2021 is postponed due to Covid-19, tickets will be valid for the 2022 event, or alternatively, you will be able to request a refund of the face value of your ticket.

I can’t find my confirmation email or tickets?

For any confirmation emails  or tickets that you can’t find, please contact info@thelockin.live.

What are the Age Restrictions?

uokFEST is a family friendly event and there are no age restrictions. We do ask that all under 16's are accompanied by a responsible adult (18+) who has a valid ticket.

Do I have to buy a ticket for a child?

No. Children's tickets are included with an adult ticket when purchasing an 'Adult & Child Ticket' from our website. These tickets have a maximum of 2 children per adult. If you require more, please contact info@thelockin.live.
