This is Harrison Holmes. Harrison had a very tough start to life and spent his first two years in hospital mostly on a ventilator. He's had a number of major operations in his life but you wouldn't know if you met him, he's definitely been a inspiration to most who meet him. Harrison just enjoys life to a full and his most favourite thing is to make others smile.

His love of music has got him through lock down without a doubt as he has continued to entertain everyone through his online group  even though most days were a daily struggle for him mentally as he suffers really bad with anxiety and change and his whole world turned upside down.

Let's give it to Harrison and anyone thats also finding it difficult right now and let's hope you find your love to help you get through too!

Mollie Harper is a superb female solo artist that has taken both the local area and the North West by storm. A naturally gifted performer who attended Kendal Music & Arts College, Mollie has honed her songwriting and performing skills to perfection at local venues and festivals, with her repertoire containing some of the finest covers you will hear.

After previously playing to packed crowds at the Barrow Christmas Lights switch-on and Another Fine Fest, Mollie has featured on BBC Radio Cumbria and is a firm favourite of The Lock In and UOKFest. Watch Mollie in action below:

Front man of The Silver Bars, Dylan Grafton is no stranger to the big stage. Having formed firstly as a duo, the band is now a fully formed five piece known for for popular releases and incredible live performances.

Their debut 4 track EP, released earlier this year, received rave reviews on Obscure Sound, Get Some Magazine and Indie Midlands all whilst bagging themselves status as 'Ones To Watch' through BBC Music Introducing in Cumbria.

Back at the inception of The Lock In, Dylan was the first artist to step into the livestream lime light with a solo set remains to be one of the most viewed to date, all whilst raising money for the Food Bank. More recently, he featured as the first performer to take part in the 'Uncovered' series, with a steller performance of The Jam's 'English Rose'. Watch it below:

Taking inspiration from the indie and punk bands they love, Chncer are a Barrow based 3 piece who's music attempts to address the mix of desperation and warmth that they see around them.

With appearances at incredible events such as Kendal Calling, Fudstock and Summer Festival to name but a few, Chncer are no strangers to the big stage.  

Their track, 'Put The Sun In My Hand', has notched up over 20,000 streams on Spotify alone and was picked by BBC Radio Cumbria as their Track Of The Week, being played across the airwaves of the county every day for a week.

Currently writing their debut EP, Chncer are looking to position themselves firmly atop the pile of bands you need to listen to.

Mad4It are the UK's most electrifying Oasis tribute. Focusing on bringing the raw energy of Oasis in the mid 90's up to now, with a set spanning the whole back catalogue, Mad4It strive to create the most authentic Oasis show possible.

With lead singer Paul Byrne a die hard fan of Oasis and Liam Gallagher since his solo release, his impersonation of Liam is uncanny, both in looks, sound and stage presence.

Joshua Morrison has been a prominent part of the local scene for a number of years, playing at stand out events such as Fudstock and Another Fine Fest, along with countless appearances at some of the best venues in the area.

His promotions, Blurred and Cartel, have become firm favourites amongst locals with their events at The Odd Frog and The Sun Inn attracting audiences from far and wide. Having played on the same bill as internationally renowned artists such as Belle and Sebastian, IAMDDB and Children Of Zeus, Joshua is known for his incredible and diverse sound selection.

His latest project, SOFAKING, started at the beginning of lockdown last year with Joshua drawing from his wider eclectic influences of hip hop, funk, soul, jazz, disco, latin and world music. As a consistent contributor to The Lock In's content calendar, his self-titled radio show has been a staple on The Lock In for over a year and has recently been picked up by Liverpool's premiere alternative radio station, SVARA Radio.

Barrow based rap duo SWERVE & JD, have been breaking down barriers between north west England and the rest of the UK, receiving support from the likes of the BBC along with iconic rap platforms SB.TV & Grime Originals.

Whilst the rest of the world slowed down during the pandemic, SWERVE & JD stepped up with a relentless schedule of releases culminating in their most recent project, 'The Prem' - where they teamed up with long time collaborator, Getso, on an EP that has amassed 30,000 plays on Spotify alone.

Their work rate hasn't gone unnoticed and last year the pair were picked up by BBC Radio Cumbria for a regular segment called 'Good Day News', a feature that received widespread praise and showcased SWERVE & JD across the area on TV screens on BBC North West Tonight.

Closing in on 100,000 total streams, the Barrow based duo show no signs of slowing down soon - flying the flag and firmly putting Barrow on the map!

Andy Graham and Mal Lingard launched the Twang nights to bring highly-regarded out-of-town acts to Barrow and unearth some hidden gems. Since their first sell outs shows, they got all the encouragement they needed, going on to book more up and coming or established acts. Welcoming Cabbage, Hers, Jon, Byrne, The Blinders, Queen Zee and The Sass Tones, Horsebeach twice and a host of others, becoming a go to night for live music.

Their aim was always to put local talent on the stage with more established acts and let the talent of barrow and the surrounding areas shine free.

The radio incarnation of Twang grew from that and began on CandoFM in 2016 before moving over to Manchester based MCR Live Radio station alongside the likes of Dave Haslam, Bondax, DJ Shadow and many others. Twang was voted official Mixcloud show of the year award nominees in 2017.

After a short hiatus, the Twang DJs reunited and brought their radio show to their new home on The Lock In, where their weekly residency is a firm favourite amongst listeners.

They have carried on their love of live shows curating two successive stages at Another Fine Fest, mixing the pick of local talent with established national acts. Most recently welcoming Rosey PM to play the main stage. On top of this they always go back to their love of eclectic DJ sets mixing anything from rock to electronic to remixes always providing an interesting selection where ever they go.

Dan James creator of Uoklad has a burning passion for dance music and mental health awareness. With hrs of practice behind him he took his DJ skills to the next level and co-hosted multiple event within the local community. From clubs to pubs he brought a crowd of supporters with an electric atmosphere. He honed his skills to mix a vast selection of music, although prefers to please people with those House, Tech House & Garage vibes. During his 2nd year traveling Australia he found his feet once again within the music scene. Performing for Gan Radge and playing some serious house parties with crazy numbers. He took his passion even further and learnt the basic’s of music production and theory with high hopes to leave his mark on the dance music scene.

Dan is ambitious to raise as much money for mental health charities as possible and have one hell of fun time whilst doing so. He would like to invite you all personally to uokFEST to make as much noise in the mental health space as possible. This event is close to Dans heart, he would appreciate any and all support from our local community which he can’t praise enough. Tipped by Zone Magazine as 'One to Watch', Strike One is a DJ who first broke onto the scene in 2018 after entering and winning two successive national DJ competitions which lead to a string of festival appearances across the UK and overseas where he made his international debut at Rise Festival in the French alps alongside industry giants such as Camelphat, Richy Ahmed, Annie Mac and Sonny Fodera.

His profile as a highly skilled DJ, with a finger on the pulse of all things house, has seen him play at stand out events all across Europe with some highlights including the main stage at a sold out Snowboxx festival where he opened up for Craig David and Kelli-Leigh, the official after party for Brighton Music Conference at The Arch with house music pioneers David Morales and Marshall Jefferson, as well as playing at world renowned institutions and festivals such as Ministry of Sound, Kendal Calling, Tramlines Festival and the Ibiza Rocks bar, to name but a few.  

Not content with staying solely behind the decks, in 2019 he launched his own podcast 'It's All Gone Strike One', which has been picked up by popular media outlet Ibiza Club News and is broadcast monthly across all platforms to their audience of 1 million followers as part of his residency.

Leftwing : Kody formed back in 2012 and were named 'one to watch' by both Mixmag and DJ Mag just one year later, with DJ Mag even nominating the duo for 'Best British Breakthrough DJ' in their Best of British Awards.

Having notched up a string of key releases on house labels like Desolat, Relief, Moon Harbour, Sola, Toolroom, Solid Grooves, Truesoul and their own Lost imprint, it’s been one foot in front of the other for quite some time.
